This vintage pendant lamp in bright orange and chrome, attributed to RAAK Amsterdam, is a standout example of Mid-Century Space Age design.
A bold expression of futuristic design, defined by light, reflection, and color. Space Age in all its glory!
Constructed from a spherical plastic globe composed of two interlocking halves, one clear and one translucent orange, the lamp reveals a striking chromed interior. Featuring five radiating light arms of varying lengths, the internal structure reflects light dynamically, enhancing both brightness and atmosphere.
The contrast between the vivid orange shell and mirrored chrome core creates a sculptural presence, closely aligned with Space Age and Sputnik design principles. Based on design characteristics and comparable examples, the piece is most likely produced by RAAK Amsterdam.

In very good vintage condition with some signs of age and use, consistent with its age. Several scratches are present on the plastic surface, but no cracks or major damage. Fully functional. The structure remains solid and the lamp presents well both illuminated and unlit.
