All listing details and descriptions are carefully checked and written as accurately as possible. However, please note the following exceptions, for which claims cannot be accepted:

• Colors may vary slightly from what you see on your screen due to differences in device and screen settings.
• Measurements are taken as accurately as possible, but minor discrepancies may occur.

All items sold by VintagefindsbyRenata are vintage or antique and may show signs of age and use. These characteristics are considered part of the item’s history and charm. Any visible imperfections are always mentioned in the product description.

These policies do not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

Electrical Items

Electrical items are tested for basic functionality before shipping. However, they are not technically inspected or updated to meet modern safety standards, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the product description. Due to their age, vintage electrical items should be used with appropriate care.

Transport & Use Notice

Despite careful packaging, vintage items may occasionally develop loose parts during transport due to their age and the nature of shipping.

Before installing, hanging or using any item, the customer is responsible for checking the product for loose or unstable components and securing them where necessary.

VintagefindsbyRenata cannot be held responsible for damage or injury resulting from the use of items that have not been checked or properly installed after delivery.

Shipping Policy

All items are thoroughly inspected and carefully packaged before shipping. Orders are shipped insured, most often via PostNL, known for its reliability and proper handling of claims.

I do not under-declare values or falsely mark items as gifts. This is considered fraud and may have legal consequences for both buyer and seller.

Buyer Responsibilities

By placing an order, the buyer agrees to the following:

• Responsibility for any import duties, taxes or customs fees. Orders returned due to unpaid customs fees are considered unauthorized returns and will not be refunded.
• Tracking the shipment using the provided tracking information and collecting the parcel from the pickup point if necessary.

Liability

By purchasing vintage items, the customer acknowledges that these products were manufactured according to the safety standards and regulations applicable at the time and place of production, which may differ from current regulations.

The customer is responsible for the safe and appropriate use of the purchased items.

If VintagefindsbyRenata is found liable, this liability is limited to the invoice value of the relevant order, or the part of the order to which the liability applies. Liability is never extended beyond the amount paid out by the insurer, if applicable.

VintagefindsbyRenata is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profit, loss of savings or damage caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

These limitations do not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence on the part of VintagefindsbyRenata.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
