A vintage cutlery set with matching fondue pot in a mid-century style, produced by Wilkens Wert & Design in Germany and known as the Tirol series.
Warmly expressive and unmistakably of its time. The contrast between glossy ceramic and brushed steel gives this set a confident, convivial presence on the table.
Crafted from high-quality 18/8 stainless steel and fitted with glazed ceramic handles in a deep red tone, the cutlery combines practical durability with decorative appeal. The fondue pot echoes the same material language, featuring a ceramic outer body with a removable stainless steel insert. The set comprises six dessert or coffee spoons, six spoons, six knives and five forks, with one fork missing.
The Tirol design reflects the Alpine-inspired aesthetic popular in post-war European tableware, balancing robust construction with playful color accents. Wilkens Wert & Design (est. 1810), a long-established German silverware manufacturer, is known for its consistent quality and refined approach to everyday objects.

Excellent vintage condition with light signs of age and use. A small chip is present on one ceramic handle, and minor surface wear is visible on the metal. One fork is missing from the set.
