This vintage ceiling lamp embodies the bold spirit of Memphis and Space Age design, capturing the experimental forms and graphic sensibility that defined lighting design in the second half of the 20th century.
Pure postmodern design with sculptural form and atmospheric illumination.
The lamp features a playful UFO-inspired silhouette composed of layered safety glass panels, a ribbed clear glass centre and a frosted glass hemisphere. Crafted from thick, refractive glass and mounted on a white base, it provides soft, diffused light suited to ambient settings. The layered construction interacts subtly with the bulb’s glow, while the sculptural form reflects the eclectic postmodern design language associated with Memphis aesthetics of the late 20th century.

Excellent working condition with only minor signs of age and use. Some spots on the frosted glass; no chips or cracks. The plastic base and fitting show more pronounced signs of age, these are not visible from the exterior and do not affect functionality.
This vintage Memphis-inspired lamp can be mounted to the wall or ceiling and is ideal for living rooms, dining areas, hallways, or other spaces in need of distinctive ambient lighting.
