A vintage Polam pendant lamp in Mid-Century Space Age style, crafted in metal and characteristic of 1960s design.
Pure Mid-Century allure with a playful yet architectural form.
Featuring a chrome frame with three brushed metal cylindrical tubes and vibrant orange interiors, this pendant lamp reflects the bold use of contrast and sculptural geometry found in 1960s lighting. Each cylindrical shade houses an E14 socket fitted with mirror bulbs, while the orange interior creates a warm, atmospheric light when illuminated.
The design evokes Space Age aesthetics and reflects the language of contemporary European lighting from the period, with clear affinities to Dutch Raak designs as well as the iconic Pantre lamp by Bent Karlby for Lyfa Denmark. Based on design characteristics and comparable examples, the lamp is most likely produced by Polam in Poland, though it is unmarked and attribution cannot be stated with absolute certainty.
