Mid-century modern mantel clock by the Dutch clockmaker Orfac, featuring a sculptural wooden case with brass-toned metal detailing and exposed pendulum construction.
The asymmetrical silhouette and curved brass elements give the piece a distinctive character, while the understated layout of the dial creates a balanced overall impression.
The clock combines a warm-toned wooden body with metal components, black and brass, including the curved base supports and pendulum. The silver colored dial features elongated black hour markers with stylized numerals at 12 and 6, framed behind a convex glass door with brass surround. The design reflects the decorative optimism of mid-century European clockmaking, with influences from both atomic and space-age forms.

Condition
Very good vintage condition with light signs of age and use. The wood shows some dryness and the brass has a natural patina consistent with age. The pendulum has been repainted in the past and displays a slightly uneven, bubbled surface finish.
