Vintage IKEA Lövbacken side/coffee table in classic Scandinavian design by Gillis Lundgren for IKEA.
An elegant mid-century modern piece, characterised by restraint, clarity and timeless appeal.
Featuring a veneered wood table top with a distinctive organic shape, this table rests on three slender black wooden legs finished with brass-toned metal caps. The design highlights thoughtful proportions and tactile material contrasts, giving it enduring appeal in a variety of interiors.
Originally introduced as an evolution of the iconic Lövet table, the Lövbacken reflects IKEA’s early modernist vision. The original Lövet was launched in the 1950s, named for its leaf-shaped veneered top, and became closely associated with the birth of flat-pack furniture after designer Gillis Lundgren adapted the design for transport. Reissued in limited runs over the years, the Lövbacken is now regarded as a collectible example of early Scandinavian modern design.

This table is in a excellent vintage condition with some minor signs appropriate to its age (some small scratches on the table top, a minor damage at 1 point of the table top).
The legs will be unscrewed for transport.
Ideal as a side table in a living room, a stylish coffee table in seating areas, or an accent piece in an entryway.
