Pair of gilt brass wall sconces by Gaetano Sciolari, designed in a Hollywood Regency style and produced in Italy.
The combination of curved arms, twisted details and decorative beaded swags gives these wall lights a distinctly theatrical yet refined appearance. The warm golden finish reflects the light softly and highlights the sculptural quality of the design.
The sconces are crafted from gilt brass with ribbed candle-style sockets and richly detailed wall plates. The ornamental chains suspended between the light points enhance the neoclassical character, while the symmetrical composition creates a balanced and elegant silhouette. Original Sciolari markings are present on the back. The design reflects Italian Hollywood Regency and neoclassical lighting from the second half of the 20th century.

Condition
Excellent vintage condition with light signs of age and use and a light natural patina to the brass. One wall mount has a small opening for cable access while the other does not. Fully functional.
