Vintage Brass and Crystal Chandelier | Regency Style, 1960s–1970s

This vintage brass and crystal chandelier from the 1960s–1970s is a refined and sculptural lighting piece with a strong decorative presence, executed in the elegant Regency style.

The chandelier features an impressive bowl of cut glass with an irregular relief and softly undulating rim, creating a beautiful diffusion of light. At the lower edge of the shade, a delicate brass collar frames a finely detailed central cover plate. The upper section is composed of an elegant crystal vase element topped with a small crystal bowl, adding height and visual rhythm to the design. The composition is completed by a brass crown adorned with cascading crystal garlands, which reflect the light beautifully and create a subtle, fountain-like effect.

The chandelier is unsigned. Based on its design, materials and comparable documented examples, it is most likely attributable to Kalmar (Austria) or to Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors (Sweden), both renowned for their high-quality mid-century lighting in brass and crystal.
