A set of vintage Auping Euroika chairs designed by Friso Kramer, representative examples of Dutch Mid-Century Modern seating, featuring teak plywood seats and slender metal frames.
Clean, quiet Dutch modernism with a subtle sculptural presence.
Formed from a single piece of curved teak plywood, the seat and back reflect functionalist design principles and provide comfortable, ergonomic support. A slender tubular metal frame keeps the overall composition light and well balanced.
Developed as part of the Euroika series for Auping, a Dutch manufacturer known for innovative furniture and material quality, the design emphasizes material honesty, clarity of form and purposeful construction.
Kramer’s work—also known for the iconic Revolt chair designed for Ahrend in the 1950s—has had a lasting influence on modern design and remains relevant within today’s design landscape.

Condition
Excellent vintage condition with expected surface wear and patina consistent with age, including light scratches to wood and metal. The plywood has some minor damage to the edges and some discoloration at the transition from backrest to seat.
