A vintage Scandinavian modern table lamp designed by Christina Halskov & Hanne Dalsgaard for IKEA, defined by a minimalist form and balanced proportions from the 1990s.
Pure Nordic calm expressed through clean lines and quiet proportions.
This large table lamp is crafted from white powder-coated metal with a slender, architectonic profile that reflects Scandinavian modern design principles. The shade and base form a cohesive silhouette that emits atmospheric, diffused light, featuring an integrated dimmer rod discreetly positioned beneath the hood.
Halskov & Dalsgaard are experienced Danish designers, both educated at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. Their work is rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition, with an emphasis on functional aesthetics and carefully considered materials. They are known for creating useful and innovative design solutions for everyday life, and their portfolio includes work for well-known brands in Scandinavia and internationally.
